Lightbulb Vanillin is also used in the preparation of pharmaceutical drugs for Parkinson's ...

The chemical name for vanillin is 4-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzaldehyde and the formula is C8H8O8. The vanillin compound has a molecular weight of 152.15. Vanillin is obtained from vanilla beans used to produce natural vanilla and from byproducts from the production of the paper for artificial vanilla.

It is used as a flavoring additive for food and beverages and as an aromatic ingredient in candles, air fresheners, perfumes, incense and potpourri. Vanillin is also used in the preparation of pharmaceutical drugs for Parkinson's disease and hypertension.

The Aztec Indians in Mexico used vanillin as a flavoring ingredient, particularly as an accent in chocolate beverages. The Spanish Explorer Hernando Cortez introduced Europe to Vanillin in the early 1500s. Vanilla became popular as a flavoring ingredient among the aristocracy and particularly in the court of Queen Elizabeth.

Arrow is this merely hapenstance? vanillin?

I felt so bad the other day at my sisters home, pain in my nerves was causing my heart to race, then I looked up and saw a jar of nutella?
European answer for the US's peanut butter?

I ask her for a spoon of it, - and quite rapidly - I felt better?
I thought to myself with a giggle chocolate cures PD?
then -
I read the ingredients on the back of the jar of nutella,
sugar -modified palm oil - hazel nuts - cocoa - skim milk -
reduced minerals -whey from milk - soy lethicin as an emulsifier -
vanillin -an artificial flavor

HI Lou,

well our antennae must be tuned to the same station as I just got through reading in "Nourishing Traditions" that whey is medicine for indigestion and keeps the body young and supple. also - I LOVE vanilla- the vanilla bean comes from orchids which are said to have the most complex DNA structure of any living plant...sometimes we listen to our bodies and they tell us what they are hungry for........ i got a tincture of cypripedium -wild orchid from Montana and also a homeopathic remedy of cypripedium--would send them to you if you'd like - just pm me

also -had a piece of dried mango yesterday and the dose of sinemet i had taken just a few minutes before became active really really fast!

have you ever tried maca root for anxiety or racing heart? Its a standout food for me that has truly made a difference.

lunar eclipse AND full moon together!!!and mercury retrograde in Sag ...how is your thyroid?..could be causing your heart to race.

carcinosin is used as a "nosode"...matching a remedy to a condition i.e. zinc for zinc deficiency -this is different than constitutional prescribing.

will send pm

thank you dear moondaughter...
wow!!! gee tena seems we are on track!

I used to associate the term "curative" with some model of immediate cessation of symptoms....and i still do but not in a linear fashion with regards to either time or isolated physical symptoms- our physiology is so interdependent. sepia may indeed be curative for these conditions -my underling curiosity of healing therapies is that of whether they move a person towards wholeness and integration. ..and whether that happens in a moment or takes a lifetime or two.

just moving that way is my intention.

Love,
md
