Has anyone seen this film which features a young woman with YOPD? Is it any good?

My husband and I saw it, and since he was just diagnosed with YOPD, it helped us both feel very less alone in the world. That being said, it is not oscar worthy, its something you watch, enjoy, then forget about as far as the acting and story goes. Still, I really fell in love with Jake Gyllenhall and Ann Hathaway as a couple. I mean they really made me believe they were in love towards the end, and it was romantic (think "The Notebook"). As far as PD. The only symptoms you see of Hathaway's are a tremor in her left hand and one scene where she experiences weakness in her hands to the point of being unable to open a pill bottle. The way the film introduces scenes involving PD are a little hard to believe, for example she is at a pharmaceutical convention when a woman walks right up to her and says "Stage one right? Dont worry my son had it... It's really not noticable." Then she hands her a flyer for a convention of people with PD happening at that moment right across the street However, the truth is this writer really couldn't have fit these scenes in any other way as the movie is too light to introduce it seriously. In the end it works, and we both liked it despite the occasional non-believability.

The 10 minutes of the film that left us feeling understood and not alone made the 90 minutes worth it... and honestly it was a funny, cute, romantic movie so I enjoyed it more than I thought I would.
