Default Where are the members before 2006?

It seems that the longest a membership lasts is 5 years. Do I detect something's wrong with this picture? Either they are gone (May they go in peace(I am crossing myself or they've lost interest. I don't wish to be negative so I am not going to assume anything, otherwise I'll be as negative as my former doctor who once said to me: "Sure they will soon discover a cure for Parkinson's, but not in your lifetime." I could have slapped her. The audacity. The operative word is "former".

Well, I have not lost hope or my sense of humor about it. I have enough doom and gloom in my life without adding negativity to the equation.

I laugh every day and I don't ever lose hope. God is merely testing me. She wants to see how much we can take. Lots. Bring it on. (Alright, that's enough now.) (LOL)

NeuroTalk just started up in 8/2006.

That's why there's nothing older showing.

That's when this forum started; many of us were on another one, Braintalk, before NeuroTalk was founded.

Ahhhhhhhh. That explains it, but only the age of the membership not their being mum.

I miss the pithy posts from those earlier contenders. They opined another perspective. I always learned from them.

Default Before there was NeuroTalk....

....there was BrainTalk. It was a thriving community much like this one. One morning we woke up and it was gone. Crashed. And the powers that "owned" it didn't care. Months went by and sick people were left sitting in the dark not knowing if the lights would ever return. Finally, a group of us were offered sanctuary here by our god-like host DocJohn and times have been good. Although I do wish that there was some way to archive this place....

But seriously, for those of us who react to adversity by pushing at the limits of knowledge, there is not another place like this one and we better take care of it. We old heads need to post occasionally for continuity and to encourage the new folk who are going to run the ball on down the field. (Ahhh! The morning meds are coming online
