There is an uproar here in Burnaby where Faceal Transplants have been done at Burnaby General for a couple of years now. Great results have been found, but the govt has put a stop on them till the old usual bs has taken place re more results validated. But the high spot is that they are being done now at the Toronto General and I do beleive Parkinsons is inclusive. you try and I will as well and lets see what we find. Take care Thelma

Do you have any idea how many PWP have been treated there with faceal transplant? And if so, with what results? Thanks.

I notice the PWP in Australia that was discussed in the article cited above did not get the faceal transplant-he was given antibiotics. I wonder if he still takes them (long term use of antibiotics has been a topic of discussion here before, with the general consensus being it's not a good idea, if I remember correctly), so whether they've treated any PWP in Australia with this transplant would be great to know as well.

Not my favorite subject, but whatcha gonna poo? Er, do?

First thought, Big Pharma is not going to like this. It is totally out of their control. Expect scare tactics. And there will be no research to speak of.

That means it is up to the patients to test thngs and to report back to the community. The obvious method is the enema. Probably the best donor is a healthy spouse. Another alternative is to figure out a simple way to culture it in yogurt or similar.

Maybe something missing is replaced. Or something unwanted is overcome and eliminated or controlled.

Given a close tie to the immune system, how far could this go? Is there a bug for every disease? Do we end up with a donor system ala blood types? Bacteria are extremely adaptable and rearrange themselves in minutes. Then they tell the others how to do it too. They need us to survive, so it makes perfect sense that they should look after us. What if history puts antibiotics on display with blood letting?

Don't be shy now.

Another thing to be investigated are things like Rid-X septic tank treatments While obviously not intended for human use it looks possible.

Rick, our thoughts exactly. And what better time to share bodily products than this Valentine's Day? A whole new twist on date night!

But seriously, I thought the same thing about pharma and this, as well as an iodine supplement we are trying and so far, seeing improvements in sleep, but I'll report more on that later when I have more data, and under a separate thread. The big industry will not like this, will not fund any research into it, and will do everything it can to villify those who do and discredit any results put out there.

The good thing is that what we currently have and have had for decades does NOT WORK, so I think a ton of folk are much more open to considering alternatives, even one as unsavory to think about as this one.

Did some checking up on Professor Borody.
I live nearby and have never heard of him or his centre for digestive whatever but he seems to be targeting overseas clients/patients.
My son a post doctoral medical researcher in a teaching hospital nearby did some checking up and said he lacks credibility, well actually he said a bit more than that but I'm not game to say what... not here anyway!
When I turned on his video and saw a sign which said "bowel cancer can be cured" in the background I found that upsetting and it's what got me going enough to post.
I understand bowel cancer can be prevented or treated but not in a day care facility that seems to be driven by profit and which I've never heard of.
Be nice to me ok? I'd say there's a good chance I'm about to have my head bitten off by one or more of you!

How much more pure could you get, as long as the mother was healthy also.
