1. My regiment - Up by 5AM - I take B6. Vit D, C, Seretone, Dopatone, COQ10, B12, Coral Calcium, NAC, Acidolphilus, Neuroflam, Cod Liver, Multivitamin, and Lypo-Speric GSH. Usually eat 4 raw eggs and OJ and water with apple cider vinegar, tart cherry juice concentrate, sea salt, and maybe a banana before I leave at 5:45 or so.

Get to work between 6-6:30 - take my sinemet at @ 8AM - eat celery, carrots, maybe another banana. Lunch at 11:30 or so and then sinemet at 2PM. I do ok till next morning but lately been taking a bit of sinemet at 7 PM or so. I even feel ok in morning without any sinemet for almost 12 hours. At night I take the Sereton, Dopatone, COQ10, and Neuroflam again.

2. I will work on this - makes sense - probably need work in this area.

3. Pain mostly in forearms/wrist - stiffness in fingers, legs, and neck. My right side/arm is the worse but I've had some surgeries on my arm years back before I was dx - they were trying to find out why I had pain in my right forearm and wrist!

Hope this helps - any input would be appreciated -

Thanks again

God bless
best of luck.

Hello everyone, fairly new to the forum.

I too have almost constant pain in limbs and feet with cramps in feet as well. Am taking
Stalevo 150 3 X's daily, Sinemet 25/100 3 X's daily and Mirapex 1.5 ER once daily. My feet and legs hurt more after walking so I have to limit being on my feet. Have also had stiffness in legs, hands and neck for sometime. What is your opinion if I am over or under dosing?

Thanks,

Joe

My thorn in the flesh is my arms - lots of pain and stiffness and maybe inflammation (my current naturalists doctor thinks inflammation is an issue) from elbow down - seems like the PD has centered around my forearms! If I had relief in the forearms/wrists then people wouldn't know I had PD and my attitiude and outlook would be vastly different. No neuro or natural doctor has answers for my arms - My only relief, unfortunately, is the sinemet and I'm thankful for that for without it this PD would be unbearable everyday.

But any thoughts on why my arms are taking the blunt of this?
Thanks
God bless
I too have pain in my upper right arm.it gets worse as the day goes on. I do quite a bit of typing as part of my job and also doing assignments from uni. I think there is a link with PD made worse by my lifestyle. Luckily meds help

I am by no means a doctor.

I have been diagnosed with PD for 12 years now. I noticed in the previous posts a common thread. You all seem to be taking Sinemet 25/100 and a Sinemet 25/250 name brand or generic carbodopa/levadopa. Are any of you taking SinemetCR as well or it's generic carbodopa/levodopaER?

The reason I ask is that when taking the regular Sinemet, it peaks quickly like 2 hours then drops off to to nothing before the next dose. By adding SinemetCR it keeps levodapa in your system between doses. To me it sounds like you are going off between doses. The SinemetCR acts like a cushion between doses. This is where the soreness and muscle cramping may be coming from. Another question is have you tried taking some Aleve or something similar? Aleve is an anti inflammatory.

I also get a lot of relief from NSAIDS although I use Ibuprofen.
I also noticed that you take coral calcium- there has been some info lately that you may want to investigate about calcium supplementation being detrimental. You may want to look into supplementing with turmeric for anti-inflammatory effects.
One last thought- and I know it is easier said than done, but your body may just be telling you to stop stressing your arms with all that repetitive movement.
