I am excited by this news, especially because of the fact that, in China, 2 medical systems are officially recognised and practiced in synergy, these being the traditional Chinese medicine and western medical science.
China develops therapeutic apparatus for Parkinson's disease " Transcranial magnetic stimulation is a noninvasive method which causes depolarization in the brains' neurons so as to restore the functions of brain nerves. The apparatus consists of three parts, namely brain wave stimulator, field effect cap and multiplier, said Sun. Clinical tests over more than 100 patients showed that the apparatus had a 70 percent success rate in reducing the disease's symptoms, according to Wang Aili, planning manager of AMA. " |

Transcranial electromagnetic stimulation has been used to treat PD here in the U.S. and also in Greece. there are somee NIH studies avaailable - I too have felt keen interest in this venue. Dr. Sandyk is in New York - I would go to him but I think treatment takes more than just a few visits-and I live in the NW btw i use this earth pulse device - really like it as a sleep aid and there may be other benefits that i just don't know how to discern. http://www.earthpulse.net/Sandyk.htm md
