I can't speak for fermented papaya, but I measure the effectiveness of my white ratting by using the following program:
http://www.parkinsonsmeasurement.org...eToSideTap.htm This measures the number of times you can type qpqp ... in 30 seconds, using first just the index finger of your left hand then just the index finger of your right hand. It is a computerized version of a test I was given at hospital. For me the total of the two scores varies from about 25 - 42, as I go from fully off to fully on. A person without Parkinson's will score about 50-60. John

I don't think fermented papaya has any l-dopa, but it seems to help the l-dopa you supplement with to work better or last longer. With me just being on the natural l-dopa from fava plant tops...what I noticed was first my eyes did better driving at night. Then with taking a larger amount (approx a heaping TBS) My night symptoms dissappeared
( right foot turned and dragging/ left arm bent up in front of me in "puppy begging possition" and right arm swinging about tryiing to keep me going and maintain balance). I hated getting up at night! I took my last drops of l-dopa (fava tops tincture) about 9:30 at night and got up about 2 am. Now I can get up anytime and I am fine. I take my papaya with my breakfast cereal...and that is a long time away from 2 am!! |
