Default Michael J. Fox In 'Curb Your Enthusiasm'

Michael J. Fox In 'Curb Your Enthusiasm': Guest Star Role Revealed

Huffpost Entertainment - Larry David has never been shy of pushing boundaries; the cranky TV icon has mined race, sex, disability and religion for uncomfortable laughs on both "Seinfeld" and his own HBO show, "Curb Your Enthusiasm."

With the show's eighth season premiering next month, word has come out that David Will be digging into a new topic for discomfort: Parkinson's Disease.

TV Guide reports that Michael J. Fox has signed on to guest star in an upcoming episode of "Curb Your Enthusiasm," playing himself as Larry's upstairs neighbor in his new New York apartment. Fox, who has battled Parkinsons for two decades, won't try to hide his symptoms; instead, they'll be part of the joke.

He told TV Guide that the episode has Larry believing that, "I'm being symptomatic just to annoy him -- a whole passive-aggressive thing. He's complaining because I'm shuffling and making noise upstairs. It's very funny."

Larry David is simply brilliant; just love his show. If you ever watched Seinfeld, he is the brainchild behind it, and when you watch Curb, you'll see that Jerry, George, Kramer, and Elaine are just expressions of Larry.

Kudos to MJF for the self-deprecating humor...that is one small thing that keeps me/us sane.

Speaking of PD to entertain us...has anyone seen "In Treatment"? It is on HBO or something but now also DVD or Netflix. Stars Gabriel Byrne, as a psychoanalyst who begins to notice he may have inherited his father's PD. It's even something of note that they show PD can be genetic. PD fears creep in with season 3.
