Default Any ideas for a bed that will elevate your legs.

Does anyone know of a way to get a hospital like bed that will elevate your head and feet? With the PD I have bad muscle spasms in my legs at night and cannot sleep on my back yet I have sleep apnea and have to wear CPAP, it does not function well when I manage to get comfortable-on my stomach. I love the hospital beds because you can adjust them just right but it seems the ones they send to your home are cheap ones with a mattress as thin as a slice of cheese. I guess I've got something to work on for a few days.

Default Beds

Hi Jim,
Yes, I have one, it is 4 feet wide, and has a control with several buttons. You can power the head up or down, and the legs also, independently. Just Google "electric beds" or adjustable beds, and you will get dozens of them mainly in the UK. I feel sure they will be sold in the USA.

JIM: I have a "regulation" hospital bed at a TEXAS VETERANS HOSPITAL where I am a resident PwP patient. I gave up on curing sleep apnea 2 years ago and also conditioned myself to sleepng on my back. For temporary relief of leg muscle and/or hamstrings my rehab people place an Everlast punhing bag under my knees for 20 minutes daily. ----worka for me==good luck!
