Wonder what they are thinking of ? Fond memories of petri dishes, the glow of the microscope light...... or something far, far darker.......oh, sorry forgot that they do not have any sensory outputs as yet.......

DNA with learned behavior like Pavlov 's dog. what would the reward be - hydration? starting up another pump to make it more productive and feel powerful? I know the focus is going to be on memory and information storage and retrieval.
