Default Fava Juice

Hi there,

I had ordered fava juice from Internatin gourmet for my Dad. I am thinking of ordering another bottle. Has anyone been using this regularly.

Thanks,

Shar

We juiced our own steamed fava beans and made bean chips.....adding some salt and ground flax seed to the juice and putting spoonfuls on unbleached parchment paper and dried in the dehydrator...a few little chips do very well for PD symptoms. If you can do this.right away upon receiving the juice..it is tasty and extends the life of the juice!
Good luck, Aunt Bean

YES, indeed! I LOVE fava juice....anything that assists in reducing already low dose of med (sinemet). when favas are fresh yo can also eat whole fresh pods.

yesterday i forgot to take my second dose until 4 pm and have reduced from 3 pills a day to two mostly since summer started. I make my own juice .....order favas from local grocer and juice pods only (no beans).

lately i think that pd should be called hormone shifting disease because everyone is so different. Let food be thy medicine.

read aunt beans threads for a wealth of fava info...

HI Aunt Bean,

Do you steam the whole pod with beans inside or beans only??I have such good luck with the pods without the beans i don't know what to do with all the beans....
