is not as sexy as ESCR and that is possibly the reason why we don't give it the same coverage.
Gene Therapy is set to explode over the next five years. Maybe we need to take notice going by how far advanced and successful Neurologix are with their Parkinson's trials.. Check out http://www.stemcellresearchnews.com/...earch_news.htm GO HARD........SCIENCE |

Good to see you, Rats! Thanks for the links, looks like our friends at Neurologix are doing their homework and everybody else's, too. I'm a sucker for good news on the genetic therapy front!

i share your thinking on Gene Therapy. This technology has not gotten riddled with the cancer of politics and religion and has therefore been able to develop unhindered too a stage where exciting breakthroughs are likely. Neurologix is an excellent example. Huge advances in the next five years on many fronts, we have got to be excited about that.
The wheels are moving...oh so slowly on ESCR with science being bullied by the pseudo nonsense and spurious claims that religious and political despotic institutes flourish on. GO HARD SCIENCE Rats |

at phase 2/3, Ceregene, Neurologix and the old Avigen initiative.
What I want to know is what happened to Nathan Klein and Dr Michael G. Kaplitt. This dates back to 2003, surely it has moved on from there ? (He says in hope rather than expectation). Aftermathman (aka Neil, (God only knows why I started this Aftermathman idea anyway)). <It takes 25 muscles to smile, 45 to frown but only 15 to knock some arse££les lights out.> |

Neil, aka Amm,
we won't mention England's Rugby international against Wales. nuff said Dr Michael Kaplett is a partner in Neurologix along with New Zealand's Dr Mat Dunning. Listen to the Audio in the lead thread. Nathan Klein...would be interesting to hear how he is progressing. 2003 Gene Therapy trials compared to 2007 Gene Therapy trials is akin to comparing 1930s air travel to 2007 air travel, such is the exponential growth of G.T. in the last four years. The next four years will be compelling. GO HARD SCIENCE |

didn't realise that the Nathan Klein GT therapy was the Neurologix solution.
Thanks for putting me straight. Neil. <Just when you make something idiot-proof a new improved idiot comes along> |

Klein GT I know nothing about or whether he was an early part of the Neurologix trial. Somebody may have more up to date info on that.
What is significant is the fact Neurologix GT has developed to an exciting stage in 2007. Watch this space...... GO HARD SCIENCE |

update on Gene Therapy and Nathan Klien who is apparently out in the real world doing well after four years of having the initial Gene Therapy treatment.
Check out this powerful report to Wall Street on 03/21/07 http://www.vcall.com/console/Console...nz&tck=NRGX.OB GO HARD........SCIENCE |

anybody know how Neurologix will screen the 50 to 100 patients to trial their Gene Therapy cure?
No doubt the 100 individuals for these 2007 fourth quarter trials will be from the U.S. There must be murmurings a plenty in this process. And individuals will be lining up for the Neurologix phase 2 trials, particularly since it has been revealed that Nathan Klien is running around with excellent results from his operation in 2003, and exponential improvements on the Gene Therapy from 03 to 07 will have super advanced the technology. This is powerful stuff. GO HARD...... SCIENCE |
