Actually it is not my friends who look at me like that it is my doctors! Well some of them anyway! I am fairly sure I have a PD'ism of some kind as I know I have whatever my grandmother had. I had breathing probs before DX which resolved with ldopa, definitely came back during the 'washout' time. My guess is you won't have any answers, neither will the docs until you have lowered your meds enough for either the PD to show through or a new improved you to show through! Take it easy with meds reduction, I have heard it is a rough road.

Lindy,

It certainly quite the experience. Will due on the advise on taking it slow and I can only hope you're wrong about the PD showing up as I reduce my dependency on the drugs, but if your not, then I'll have to deal with it at that time.

Thank you for taking the time to response
and keep well

i have been battling the "pd or not pd, that is the question" for 27 years claude. been to so many "top notch" neuros and clinics all over the country each with a different opinion that it is making me dizzy. they ask what my first symptoms were and i dont even remember. the combination of med side effects and interactions, damage i had from encephalitis i had at age 15, PTSD, and SDS (stupid doctor syndrome) has made me throw up my arms in disbelief.

gimme a break

harley,

I feel for you. How did you, in all that time keep from going completely insane. I mean, at times I think we're bring used as Gienah pigs. Your mind goes through some strange crap at times. Many a times I've to talk to myself (out-loud, so I could hear the words and not just try to think them) that I've got to keep it together and fight this thing whatever it is, just don't give up!

All these drugs, over the time that I've taken all these drugs, I began to Hallucinate and believe it or not I've even started communicating with my Hallucinations. (The only reason I bring all this up, is because the good people here understand where I'm coming from.) I won't bore you with the details but I could write a book on my life, PD, Drugs and Supplements from the last 7 years.

It's 3:59am here and this laptop is getting heavy on my lap so I'll say goodnight and keep well.
