But on this board, I can't find any info about it, which concerns me somewhat. I have an appointment tomorrow with my doctor to try to obtain a prescription and I am wondering if anyone here has any information about it? If it is as good as it looks to be, why isn't it being talked about much on here?

i tried it for a month, my neuro wrote an rx, got it filled at a compounding pharmacy. stopped it because i had incredibly vivid dreams that i couldn't tolerate.

We have been taking this for over five years. We have totally progressed in original symptoms as well as developed new ones which have also progressed. We still take it, just like we take Azilect, because you never know....but I have to say at this point, I have serious doubts.

Now, would we have progressed more or faster without taking LDN? No one can answer that. But based on what our personal experience is over several years, I'm not thinking this is as helpful as I original thought. Contact ashleyk and ask, although I think the last post I read from her indicated that she, too, was progressing.

Curem, check my postings on using an over the counter drug dextromethorphan in place of naltrexone. The two drugs are of the class morphinans and are nearly identical. I followed the experimental work of Dr. J-S Hong at the NIEH where he and his research group demonstrated the anti-inflammatory activity of the two drugs at extremely low concentrations.

I have been taking LDDM for 6-7 years, and I think that it may be helping slow down my symptom progression. Also, I have not encountered the vivid dreams associated with LDN.

You probably already know that the LDN has to be compounded and some compounding pharmacies are more reputable than others. We use Skip's in Florida and they ship it to us.

Since this is compounded, you have to be absolutely certain that the pharmacy is putting in the right things in the right amount and of good quality. There is a website, maybe more than one, that listed the reputable pharmacies for LDN, I remember there are very few that were recommended, one was in NYC, then Skip's, and then one other I forget where it was. Be sure you send your script in to a good place.

You can get it without prescription from Anti-aging Systems, imported from
the UK. I have been taking LDN for a month but I haven't noticed much of anything.

I tried it for about a year and didn't notice any benefits from it. I think it made my muscles tighter too. It seems to help some people but not me. Have thoought about DXM but it's mixed with all sorts of artificial colours, flavours and sweeteners in the UK as far as I know.
