Good article, Debi. For those who may not be familiar with Neurology Now, it is a patient-focused publication published by the Professional group, American Academy of Neurology. The language/terminology is scholarly, yet not way above the heads most grassroots' groups. It covers more than Parkinson's only, such as MS, Epilepsy, Stroke, Sleep Disorders, Alzheimer's, and more.
Neurology Now has a wide distribution and is FREE! You can usually pick up a hard copy in your doctor's office ; there will be a postage-paid postcard included in each publication where you can subscribe. Also, there is an online version of the publication, and can you can subscribe from there: (and for some dumb reason I cannoto access my oldest account, so I am considered a "newbie" and cannot post a link! Weird.) Peg |
