anyone see the movie "Phenomenon" with John Travolta? After being struck by lightening he suddenly realizes telekinetic power...maybe that is OUR future...the OTHER side of this coin

Thank you Victoria and md for reminding us of the previous thread which highlighted the research on stimulating the peripheral nervous system and I hope (in vain ) that it is followed up by some body in the medical establishment.
Safer Electrical Therapy for Parkinson's
I also wish to point out that the research sited in this thread seems to us dc (direct current, zero frequency) in difference to Deep Brain Simulation (DBS) and Peripheral nervous stimulation which seem to me that it uses Alternating current.
In DC stimulation, the only parameter which can be "tuned" is the size or severity of the stimulation. While in AC stimulation you may change both frequency and size of stimulation. AC stimulation seems to me to hold more promise.

Default hakuna metata 8-)

umark,

i came across this response in a different forum relative to fear response and really liked it. i post it here as it seems "biochemical signals" can be stimulated electrically (at the proper frequency...what can hurt us in large doses can also heal us in small doses but do emotion based responses need to preceed therapy to alter biochemical signals to make lasting changes in the brain?in other words transcend cultural conditioning...)

"We are on the brink of a transitional phase of awakening. In order to overcome the narcotic-like denial state which has led to our pathological obedience, we must look to our biochemical signals that send emotion based response patterns of our subconscious cooperation with the mortal consensus. We cannot be sentimental about the behavior modifying archetypes that have been cast in the soap opera of our false history, nor can we leave behind those prescribed and regurgitated philosophies only to adopt another." -vaughnb "the traveler" - projectavalon.net

warm regards,
md

Default Shakti Helmet?

http://www.shaktitechnology.com/
Check this out. I have one which I have experimented with using Rife frequencies. I think it holds some possibilities but only if the right frequencies could be isolated. It needs very careful programming.
