A friend of mine's mom has Alzheimer's, and I don't know anything about Alzheimer's but my friend says her mom has a tremor as part of Alzheimer's. She's also losing her fine motor coordination.
She's having trouble holding utensils, as a result of these changes, and my friend thought I might have some experience with weighted silverware because she's read that it can be helpful to people who are losing their fine motor coordination. Apparently there are a lot of different kinds, however. I don't have any experience with weighted silverware, but I thought maybe someone else on the messageboard might. Any assistance or information anyone can offer would be much appreciated! |
