Default yup

herniated disc at L5-S1 extruded in 2001, requiring surgery - microdiscectomy (sp?). by 2005 the disc had collapsed completely - bone on bone, the doctor said. options were fusion or bear the pain. i continue to choose the latter. other discs are bulging and have been for a while - L4-L5 in particular.
