Lightbulb IM levodopa

Does anyone, (Reverette, Chasmo) or others know if there is an injectable form of levodopa? Wouldn't that as well eliminate the factor of the GI tract? But then again there's probably some other reason why this won't work.
Just thinkin.

Jim,

It is injectable but to be used only during sudden offs when you apparently just have to be on again within minutes. You have to prime yourself for it by taking anti nausea meds because since it is released into the bloodstream quickly it commonly causes nausea and vomiting. Honestly don't know why this would be useful to someone unless you have difficulty getting back on. I just take an extra pill seems less extreme.
