Thanks Carolyn...read similar months ago with a promise of it being up and running in days...obviously a bigger problem than first thought.I have found this by default and am so relieved to see familiar names.Have most follk joined this forum ...whoops...a million and one questions.
Strike it...I will just wait patiently to see what unfolds. Anyhow...have nothing of much use to add except I am battling on like the rest of you.Meds are diminishing in their effectiveness but what the heck...lol. Roll on brain surgery I guess. Is there drug life after the top dose of sinemet, ropinarole and sinemet cr ? Does anyone know?I haven`t bothered to keep my neuro visits up...Foolish or what but life is too busy and enjoyable at the minute to interrupt it with hospital appointments. I have just aquired a St Bernard puppy and she is THE BEST THERAPY YET. I swear she smiles at me and is so chilled I can`t help but c hill too. Humph! What a lark. St Bernard and Pd patient. Suitable dog hey?11 stone when fully grown. Everyone recommended poodles and teeny dogs but I figured there was a chance of squashing them during my clumsy phases so...not much chance of that with a dog that`s built like a donkey hey!!! YEP...Miss Lacking in Common Sense but will do anything for a laugh is back. xxx |

Hi Steffi..Glad you found us..Im not going to speak for everyone, but some of us have decided to build our community here..I dont know what everyone wants to do but although I may still post occasionally at BT when it gets back up, I personally prefer it here for a number of reasons..
BT supposedly will be back online in a few days Steve

Steve, you are saying that this BT2 will NOT be combined with the old BT1?
Can he not tack these new BT2 threads on the top of the last old BT1 threads? Seems that would make sense to do that. Carolyn

Steffi,
Congratulations on your St Bernard pup. Actually, he will probably be good for you. I have an Irish Wolfhound and he sometimes acts as a walker for me. Beyond that the care of two horses, another dog of mine and numerous foster dogs, keeps me active and moving, which is VERY important. It is good to hear you so full of life. MK2 |

It looks like BTO (for original or old, aka BT1) is sitll struggling to get up. JL says down a month but it was more like 2 1/2. Read the whole pathetic story on BT2 in COmmunity and Forum Feedback, best threads for this subject probably http://forums.braintalk2.org/showthread.php?t=1186 and http://forums.braintalk2.org/showthread.php?t=1576.
And I forgot to say JL is not DocJohn and DocJohn is not John Lester. Welcome home, Steffi. (I guess that show where I stand--I think). Jaye |
