This symposium is FREE so it is a wonderful opportunity for people with PD, family members and friends, and other health care professionals who want to learn more about physical and occupational therapy and PD to attend.
The Science and Practice of LSVT BIG. When: Sunday, May 20, 2012 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. Lecture 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. Interactive demonstration with LSVT BIG exercises Where: HealthSouth Harmarville McLaughlin Education Center 320 Guys Run Road Pittsburgh, PA 15238 The symposium will include a 1-hour lecture presented by experts in physical and occupational therapy for people with Parkinson disease. The lecture will be followed by an interactive session where participants with Parkinson disease are invited to interact with physical/occupational therapists practicing movement exercises (LSVT BIG) .
