Default Tremors

My dads tremors left arm and hand are getting worse. He is on Sinemet twice a day. Any suggestions as to what he can try that might help the tremors lessen? He is visiting me and my sister here in NY... Hate to see him like that?

Everyone's experience is different, but here's a few ideas (I'm a PwP, not a medic):
- stress makes the tremors worse;
- Sinemet has a variable impact on tremors. Two doses per day is, in my experience, unusual: 3 or 4 doses per day is more common. Levodopa has a short half life, so he must be running out between doses. Perhaps he should ask his doctor about this;
- I get a limited, brief relief from my tremor, by consciously moving my hand a few millimetres at right angles to the tremor.
