I came across this article from 2018 in Nature:

"How flashing lights and pink noise might banish Alzheimer’s, improve memory and more"
How flashing lights and pink noise might banish Alzheimer’s, improve memory and more

Although mainly about Alzheimer's there's mention of PD.

"The strobe was tuned to 40 hertz and was designed to manipulate the rodents’ brainwaves, triggering a host of biological effects that eliminated the plaque-forming proteins."

I'm unsure whether running my strobe programs (see previous posts on this thread) will work properly at 40 Hz. They haven't been written to run quickly, e.g. Javascript slows things down on standard laptops with a screen refresh rate of 60 Hz. (High-end machines intended for game playing may have a refresh rate of 120 Hz).

Please note the warnings associated with flashing lights.
