Default Israeli researchers identify protein that protects brain cells from Parkinson's disea

A pity I don't have access to this article.

edit: I did got free access to the article by registering to it. The researchers in the article had a look at DJ-1 gene and based on that they discovered a neuroprotective protein that prevents cell death.

Thanks for the full article. But still ... the article is not detailed enough. It says itw as effective for mice. But what does effective mean ?
