great article.
for some reason, i told family and friends as soon as i found out, partly because i wanted to raise awareness, partly for sympathy i hate to say. being self employed, i felt obligated to tell my customers, none whom seemed very concerned because i had always worked at home and was a programmer. but the life, disability and health insurance implications to say the least weighed on me immediately. |

One of those profiled is Dr Karen Jaffe, ob/gyn. Karen serves on the mjff patient council, and is a great advocate for patients everywhere!
