My hand tremor has had about 50% - 75% improvement. There is an article specially explaining about baicalein treating Parkinsonian tremor at NCBI -

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22634324

I see a total of 26 articles about baicalein and PD published at NCBI. It seems that this herb extract has some other benefits to PD as well. I will keep trying and see if any other changes it can bring...

Hi there,

I appreciate your response. I am going to get this for my Dad. When you said you are seeing an improvement. Does that mean a reduction?

Thanks!
SHar

Everybody is different. I take 1 cap/day after dinner. In TCM baicalein also has the function to low the blood pressure and calm you down, so you will look at your own response. Its half life is about 16 hours by oral.

Hi there,

I thought you increased your dosage to two pills/day. Are you taking one or two pills a day?

Thanks in advance,

Shar

I take 1 or 2 caps/day, but not more than 2, to build the tolerance gradually.

Are you still taking baicalein. If so, are you still holding onto the improvement in tremors?

Yes, my (right) hand tremor has been noticeably better - as I am now sitting and typing, there is no tremor at all. I am taking 1 or 2 caps / day. When I take 2, I had episodes of low blood pressure (99/68), this may also because I am taking Mirapex at a low dose (ER, 1.5 mg/day). But the BP keeps in normal range when I take 1 cap/day.
