Thanks. I will try this and would like to find a source that provides it as certified organic and grown in USA. Am also going to try the mucuna. Am hoping to avoid going on meds for as long as I can, though my hand tremor gets worse by the week.

Hi there,

Just checking in with you to see if you are still taking skullcap. Have the effects of skullcap tapered off?

My dad is taking one pill a day. I just wanted to see if you think your trermors are still improved because of taking skullcap.

Thanks!

Shar

A week ago I started to take Tian Ma Gou Teng Granules which also contains the skullcap in about the similar dose. I noticed in the first couple days the tremor seemed to go back a bit but now it is okay. How is your dad doing?

"Jiu Zhi Tang (九芝堂)". More info from Google or Baidu. There are also something at Amazon.com including the Gou Teng in single herb granules. Good luck!

Thanks WXXU.

DO you have the TCM prescription in chinese for the granule?

Is this prescription is formulated for parkinson disease or as mentioned in Hong Kong university research?

TQ

"Tian Ma Gou Teng Granules" is originated and very similar from "Tian Ma Gou Teng Yin" (the one used by HK Baptist Univ), as my TCM friend told me. The granules I am taking has the following as per the instruction and it does have (Chinese) skullcap -

Gastrodia, Uncaria, abalone, wolfberries, skullcap, Achyranthes, salt Eucommia, motherwort, Loranthaceae, Shouwu vine, Poria.

The effective compound is Isorhynchophylline, which is from Gou Teng, according to the study from the Baptist Univ., the others are less important.

Hi

I have found the tianma gouteng granule here but i think the price is quite expensive($65 for 200g)

I think i will try the gouteng herb first by soak it inside boil water and drink as tea as gouteng dry herb is available here.
