That's a good idea. Amazon.com has the single herb Gou Teng Granules in 1:5 extract. The daily dose for Gou Teng should be minimum 12 g in dry bulk ( per Tian Ma Gou Teng Yin) or 6 g in 1:5 extract. I am also considering to add some Gou Teng single herb extract into the granules to make sure getting good amount of the effective ingredient to be therapeutic. Forget to tell that I ship my herbs of personal consumption from overseas via EMS. It takes in less than a week and completely hassle free, much better and inexpensive than FedEx or UPS. |

Without any anti PD med for 11 years? This is amazing, isn't it? What do you think are those most important contributing facts? |

I am curious as well. No PD meds for all that time yet taking TCM for all those years and see no result? Please elaborate. I have just started TCM prescription and acupuncture. I have seen noticeable improvement in dystonic type symptoms. Nothing major but something to notice. Thanks in advance

Hi there..
i took medicines about a month or two for diagnosis purpose. The drugs did give me bad side effects. I did worked full time for 6.5 yrs before retire, i think i might able to work for another year for part time, but i decided to retire. I guess the following did contribute for me to be drugs free, but i dont think i can hold on long from now: 1) My age. I am only 41 now. 2) TCM i took might have slow down the progression of the disease. 3) I did meditate and did some light exercise sometimes. TQ |

Welcome Wu Chang...I am not on PD meds either. I am going natural with fava beans/ plant extracts, fermented papaya and some mucuna....there are so many wonderful things out there that can help and I do believe that skullcap is one of them. I grow American and hope to aquire Chineese Skullcap also. I pray you will find what you need to combat symptoms without starting Pharmaceuticals.... blessings, Aunt Bean
