Billions of dollars in fines. Added to the price of the drugs. Which we pay for. Drugs that exist only because of our illness. Big Pharma profits. Some see their shares shoot up in value when the fine is announced - because they had expected it to be more, and built it into the price of the drug. So Big Pharma profits.
But who also collects the billions of dollars from this scam? The government - collects billions of dollars in fines. Big Pharma rakes in the cash and the government rakes in the cash. Those with the disease pay for it all. The billions of dollars of fines imposed on Pharma for criminal activity should be entirely devoted to research to cure the disease. |
