Anyone tried this already ? I read it prevents parkinson's. I also read that it stimulates the stem cells in the human brain to generate new neurons. This is supposed to be helpful for Alzheimer, but I guess it can also help for people with parkinson's disease. |

alzheimers is due to lack of acteylcholine as pd is due to lack of dopamine, i almost hesitate to make such a basic statement now as things change so fast, while there are similarities between diabetes and alzheimer and pd, drugs for alzheimers raise acetylcholine levels, which is bad for pd, when acetylcholine levels are often normal. this raises it to a toxic level. Acetylocholine is used in making toxic weapons. it can stop the heart. it's been mHO that all neuro-transmitters should be studied as they are completely out of balance. and pd dimentia is not the same as alzheimers. we overfire, need gaba for "brakes", have too much glutamate and acetycholine, and not enougn norepinephrine which means serotonin imbalance.we are controlled by meds - our personalities are often suffering from mood changes - quite the mess. i am a little off topic, don't know the drug you mention, but reacted to the assumption that what might work for alzheimer could help pd.
