Here's an even more interesting quote from the article: "However, the discovery is unlikely to turn into a medicine for Parkinson's because details of the compound were accidently made public several years ago and can no longer be patented.
Professor Piggott said he now hoped to make similar compounds that would attract funding from a pharmaceutical company."
