Default Tremor Question

Hi. I'm searching for some answers in regards to the tremors in my right hand and foot. I've been seeing an MDS Neurologist for the last several months. He has not diagnosed me with Parkinson's, but he's also reluctant to rule it out. I'm hoping that these new problems that have been developing over the last year are just benign issues.

About a year ago, my wife noticed that I stopped swinging my right arm when I walk. Earlier this year, I developed a minor tremor in my right foot and hand. The peculiar part of the hand tremor is that if I do an activity such as opening and closing my left hand, the tremor in my right hand will stop. Once I stop the activity, the tremor immediately starts back up. My doctor has admitted to me that he has never had a patient present like this, hence his hesitation to provide a diagnosis. He offered to prescribe something to see if it would help with the tremor, but I opted to hold off on anything until the tremor actually interferes with my life.

Does anyone here have a tremor that presents like this?

Thanks.

Dave
