Unless Congress acts before January 2, devastating across-the-board cuts will slash $2.5 billion in critical research funding at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and 33,000 jobs around the country. These cuts, known as sequestration, could wipe out decades of research toward finding better treatments and a cure for Parkinson's and many other diseases. Stay tuned for more info!
