I need to purchase a small amount of term life insurance ( approx. $85000 for ten years ). Does anyone have a recommendation for an agent/ broker/ company who may be receptive to underwriting a client with PD.
Preferably in Canada as I believe - but not sure - that insurance products housed in the US may only be purchased by UA citizens. Thanks ps. it's -35 outside |

Thanks to recent changes to the U.S. health care laws, my wife was able to purchase pre-existing condition health insurance.
I tried searching on Google for similar Canadian insurance without success. Part of that might be because I'm in the United States. You might want to try searching on Google for "pre-existing condition health insurance" from within Canada. Steve |

Raystarlink, is there the possibility of buying life insurance through a group like CAA / AAA or AARP in Canada? Or if you are employed, does your employer offer group life insurance that you can buy into? I've found that group policies with no medical questions or exams are the best way to go. Otherwise, if you buy an individual policy, you will likely be subject to individual underwriting with medical questionnaire and/or medical exam. However, there some small policies that you might be able to buy with no questions asked, but they will be small and issued by lower rated insurance carriers.
