Yes it is possible to get off of conventional PD meds , I know 2 people who have done it and feel better for it. Both were on sinemet. Both now use mucuna , fava preparations, fermented papaya . I was never on meds for PD to start with so it was easy just to start supplementing my need with natural sources (didn't have to adjust or juggle meds) The one friend hadn't been on sinemet very long. The other had been on it a very long time and we started making liquid sinemet and reducing it ever so slightly each week over months. Now we are also , all three trying Rhodiola rosea along with the natural l-dopa supplementation and doing even better with that. God is good.

Can you tell me how they did it. I want to get off of these meds before they do me in. I want to help people who have PD, to get off of this poisons that the Doctors feed us. I just watched a movie called, "Food Matters" and it talks about how the pharmaceutical companies control doctors and insurance companies. After watching that movie, I was very concerned about my future. The supplement called Rhodiola rosea, what symptom does it help?

just curious, whose idea was it to take zandopa, where do you get it, does it require a RX and can you tell if it helps?

If you are taking sinemet in pill form....check SEARCH line for Liquid sinemet thread from past and bring it back up. This is one way to really control how much you take and cut back extremely slow so as not to upset the apple cart. It is very hard to adjust medications once you have been started on them...not an easy road. But if you are determined, it can be done with a great amount of care. Doctors do not know about natural ways to help PD , so unless you can find an ND who is doing amino therapies and has helped people with detoxing/ perhaps has worked with mucuna, you are pretty much on your own..forging wilderness territory. There are 3 of us here in East TN doing things alittle unconventionally...and it is working. We take fermented papaya that we make ourselves/ fava/ mucuna/ supplements that help. Again, I highly recommend the book
Natural Therapies for Parkinsons Disease by Dr. Laurie K Mischley...she talks about most everything we do except fermented papaya. A Valuable resource!

A blog forum that I belong to besides this one, a lady who calls herself "allnatural" is using it, and she says she is having good results. She cut her sinemet usage in half.

Buy at this website: http://mall.coimbatore.com/mall-cgi/cart.cgi

No Rx needed.....
