Has anyone used Zonisamide (anti-seizure med) for tremor? I'm tremor-dominant and meds aren't helping tremor. I know there's some evidence for it & have seen the literature already, but would like to hear any personal experiences about effectiveness, side effects, etc. My neuro mentioned it as a possibility. Thanks!

I don't know about this one, but I have read several folks say a beta blocker can help with tremor (didn't help us, but that doesn't mean it won't help you!).

I'd research the different types and then when you ask your doc about them, you can "suggest" to him which one you would like to try. I would also ask my local friendly pharmacist about them and if he would have any recommendations of one over the other, given the PD and the PD meds you take. I have found pharmacists to usually be extremely knowledgeable and very generous with their time and expertise.
