Default Gdnf

Good story! There's lots of hope for GDNF throughout the PD research community. Clinical trials were put on hold several years ago when Amgen pulled out; now things are back on track. Better late than never, I guess.

That would be a shame. It had today's date on it. Any idea how old it might be if you are right?

It looks like it is a new story about the same project. The one on the PM website was from when the study was starting; the other is about one of the results.

Default It's back to the future

Yep, it's the old GDNF trial. But revamped by its delivery system. (Partial funding comes from the Cure Parkinson's Trust )

http://www.cureparkinsons.org.uk/professor-steven-gill
And it's the same doctor -Dr. Steven Gill - whose original trials using GDNF were successful, except for the catheters, which for this trial have been redesigned.
