Default PD Poet

My friend & fellow Parkie, Gary Turchin, writes poems about PD and has entered a video in WPC contest. Good poems and wonderful to hear him read in person. You can find him on Youtube; here's an example:

"...abundant sparkle of kindness..."

He is also on the board of our wonderful local organization by and for Parkies in SF Bay Area, PD Active, which sponsors many programs to keep us active & involved (dance, yoga, chorus, support groups, etc.). You can read more about it here: http://pdactive.wordpress.com/about/ Join us and become a member if you live in our area.

Thanks Peony. Trying to figure out how to navigate this site and post...don't have it worked out yet, but thanks for posting "I'm Not Going To Tell You...". I was wondering where the hits were coming from...
I'd post other links, but I don't have the permission to. Rules...bah humbug!

Oh, yeah, that's right. Can't post links right away, but I don't think it takes too long. Meantime, let me know if you want me to post anything for you. You've got my email. I think people here would appreciate your poems & thoughts on PD as I do. I've learned a lot here. I actually considered posting other links, but hadn't gotten around to it yet. PD procrastination, plus slowness & keyboarding tremor problems. Any specific navigation questions, let me know. As a former college & engineering librarian, I'm an old hand at Internetiness.

Default Love to dance

I so enjoyed this video! I participate in a weekly Dance for PD class in Connecticut and it is so helpful. I look at movement with new eyes now that I dance. I encourage all PWP to give dance a try. The Brooklyn group now has a dance class on DVD so people can dance at home.

I'm also in a PD Mark Morris dance class & performance group. You can see me in a little bit of one of our performances on Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fmnrG9MoDx8
