So sad to see the magnificent culture that brought TCM to the world now drowning in its own toxic waste. The thought of cancer cities is horrific; I wonder if there will be parkinsons cities as well.... Hopefully, they will find their way out of this mess.

"About a week ago, Mike Adams of Natural News wrote a highly critical article exposing the myth of organic foods in the US; and why, you shouldn’t expect to get anything of true organic value out of China; especially, as he convincingly argues, “It’s a fact: USDA organic standards place NO LIMITS on levels of heavy metals contamination of certified organic foods. Even further, there is no limit on the contamination of PCBs, BPA and other synthetic chemicals that are allowed in certified organic foods, superfoods and supplements”.
And then, for the lovers of pharmaceuticals, there are all the horror stories (and law suits) DEMONSTRATING how doubtful much of that stuff actually is ... Aunt Bean may be right! |

Perhaps we need a huge land CO-OP for parkies to come grow their little plot of food (and beans of course) and fellowship together....we'll all live in pup-tents and eat what we grow so we don't have to worry about sprays / GMO's /herbacides etc
Probably won't happen....but, I can dream can't I? |
