Default Questions About Sinemet

I guess my main question is does Sinemet cause symptoms that are also known to be PD symptoms? From the beginning, tremors was the only thing I dealt with... though there was a slight problem with my right hip... in my gait. I started Sinemet in March of 2012. At first it seemed to help, but after stopping a slow increase (at 3 25/100 tabs a day), I was left suffering for a year. My tremors were so horrible, sometimes I would go into tremor fits. In April this year, a different doc increased my dosage. I am now taking 50/200 CR 4xs a day, along with the 25/100 in 4 doses of 1/2 pill, 1/2 pill, 1/2 pill, and 1/4 pill. (Started with 1/2 with first dose, and 1/4 with the other three.) I also take 3 25mg tablets of Lodosyn with the first dose. Ok, first month... I felt like Superwoman! ... but then the involuntary movement started... doc office felt it was a PD symptom from "off" time, but I NEVER had any involuntary movement before Sinemet. Now... I wake up in the mornings, and it's the best part of my day! Used to be.... it was the absolute worse because of the tremors and tightening muscles. Now... I can be up for hours before taking my meds, and I only have slight tremors... no muscle tightening, and absolutely no involuntary movement at all! Within an hour of my first dose, my right thigh begins to tighten up and I can feel the tightening and movement beginning in my right ankle and foot. As the day goes on, the involuntary movement gets worse... and by evening, sometimes it is so hard to walk because my right foot and ankle are so messed up. So, does Sinemet cause the involuntary movement and muscle tightening?

I also want to talk about head injuries and Parkisons's... but will do that in a different thread.
