Mannitol is a zero calorie sweetener used in gum and hard candy. According to this article, it has a positive effect in Fruit Fly PD by making the protein strands in dopamine neurons less sticky.

Life Enhancement has a product called FoldRight that consists of naturally occurring osmolyte chaperones. It might be worth trying.

The success has been replicated with mice. I would be excited if evidence didn't exist showing that interfering with alpha-syn may be harmful to us.
