Default Stardate 2013-04-06

This is Capain James Kirk of the Starship Enterprise. For the last several months we have been investigating reports of the mysterious disappearence of entire communities in the NeuroTalk Sector. Seemingly overnight, ancient cultures have ceased to exist at least as best our instruments can detect. Today, a landing party under the command of Lt. Dawson reported in from the deepest penetration we have managed thus far....

Lt. Dawson: "Cap'n, I don't like the looks of this. There are bodies lying everywhere you look! Aye! There is something powerfully strange at work here!"

Bones McCoy: "Jim, just got our first sweep of the area. They're not dead, Jim."

Kirk: "And....??"

Bones: "Dammit, Jim. I've been working on that line for weeks and now the darned writers screwed it up! It was supposed to be, "They're dead, Jim." What's so blasted hard about that? Muh more of this and I'm out of here!

Dawson: He's right, Jim. They aren't dead. They're just drunk! Totally blitzed! What the heck happened here? Was it a sneaky Klingon move? A whim of "Q" perhaps? Or maybe Pecard hooked up with that strange Limey in the flying phone box to destroy your reputation?? or....or....

Bones: "Get a grip on yourself, Lieutenant! We know that there are more people here than this. We just have to find them.!

So, are any Old Ones still lurking out there?

I heard it through the grapevine that the Borg assimilated them. 7 of 9 wanted to use nano probes to wake them up, but after discussing things with Lozano, they decided to use this crude battery pack. Best they could do to get those little buggers marching 2 by 2!

If this is a Councillor Ship, then where is the AMbassador?

We are not permitted to interfere with alien culture.

What fun is that?
