A breakthrough on Pathway of Fibromyalgia............. for those who have a dual diagnosis, or who have family or friends with this condition.
I have posted it because I once had this dx and know how many people in the world are struggling to get past the uncertainties of a controversial condition. It looks like this research will change all that. http://www.imperialvalleynews.com/in...romyalgia.html |

Wow!
"When patients complain of chronic pain, diffuse muscle and joint tenderness, depression, mental fog, digestive troubles, severe fatigue, insomnia and other unbearable symptoms, they’ve often been told the problem is “in their heads.” .... These studies, comparing fibromyalgia patients to healthy people, confirm that fibromyalgia is an immune system disorder..." Wow! Take out the word fibromyalgia and I would have said this is Parkinson's. This is great news; it sure looks like a breakthrough -- and a major part of the reporting on this should be to tell the story about how doctors and scientists did not believe the patients... but the patients were right... |
