Default Telomere size matters

It looks plausible that telomere length might be the cause of our troubles.

Default TA-65 and PD

Here is an interesting video about PD and telomeres. Look for podcast 23.

http://rechargebiomedical.com/

The product mentioned, TA-65, is expensive but some other substance with positive effects on telomeres are vitamin D, vitamin C, omega-3 fatty acids, and green tea extract.

Default telomere?

So now you're saying my telomere's not long enough? Wow, I've never heard it referred to by that name.

There's a lot of information coming out now about telomeres (the tips of our chromosomes) and how their shortening is what causes both age related diseases and aging itself. Studies are revealing how everything from diabetes, parkinsons, heart disease, and many others are tied to telomere length.

I found several really good videos **

There's also a product aside from TA-65 - and it costs significantly less - called Product B. I believe they have tests being done by Maria Blasco currently.

All good info, ive been studying the "unraveling" of the Myelin sheaths for 2-3 years now and feel its quite important in understanding PD. I try and supplement with things that purportedly prevent or diminish the decay of the Myelin sheaths and subsequent unraveling of the Telomeres. If only we could employ Reverse Transcriptase as used by viruses to introduce their own DNa into the host to build our own new healthy Telomeres. Or better yet use the virus as a vehicle to produce new undamaged DNA utilizing reverse transcriptase just replace the viral Helix with our own then use themas molecular hypodermic needles!

" RT activity is also associated with the replication of chromosome ends (telomerase) and some mobile genetic elements (retrotransposons)."

" Reverse-transcribing DNA viruses, such as the hepadnaviruses, can allow RNA to serve as a template in assembling, and making DNA strands.")

Rodgers DW, Gamblin SJ, Harris BA, Ray S, Culp JS, Hellmig B, Woolf DJ, Debouck C, Harrison SC (February 1995).

Krieger M, Scott MP, Matsudaira PT, Lodish HF, Darnell JE, Zipursky L, Kaiser C, Berk A (2004). Molecular cell biology

Those nasty little Retro viruses that seem soo smart going from RNA to DNA.

Im especially interested in this as all of the men on matrilineal side have or had PD so my congenital possibilities I believe are high but the Mvmnt team disagrees................duhhhhhhhhhhhh....anybody wanna biscuit? here biscuit biscuit....oops sorry I slipped into Bobs "Zone" where all the trees look like and ansel adams photo....no color.

Be at peace and may your wellness be high today..

BP since 33, drug free and.....well.......happy.

Backpacker...
You seem like a diligent researcher!
Have you done any research on PD being caused by a virus? Or bacteria...?
Any thoughts on viruses/bacteria being passed on through the maternal line for generations?
