My MDS is recommending I try the rotigotine/Neupro patch. Apart from its cost (bad) and its convenience (good), are there any of you who have used it that can tell me of its other pluses and minuses?
Many thanks, Jon |

I love it! It's a little stronger than Requip XL and gives me just the amount of medicine I need. Not great for swimming or sitting in the hot tub, but at least I know I have it on each day. Sometimes the glue gets a little bit sticky and it's a sore spot for about a minute or maybe half minute when you pull it off. I have no negative side effects.

He reckons that as the "skin absorption" method is less effective than oral absorption, he pitches this at early stage PWP only.
Mind you it is tough to argue with the real world experience of Nan !! Neil. |
