Default Lots of pee trips but no peeing?

My mother seems to be having this recurring issue that has developed in the past few weeks. She seems to think she has to go to the bathroom frequently, but when she goes, not much urine comes out. This may be a compounding thing where the fact that she is not totally emptying her bladder, she is more likely to go again. The issue does seem to be happening more at night but does not completely stop in the day. Is this nocturia or something else?

I should note a trip to the urologist revealed she does not have a urinary infection. Still awaiting culture/sensitivity tests. Limiting fluids intakes overnight has not helped much. she does not seem to have a significant incontinence issue.

I just realized that this issue started about the same time my mother started taking Miralax. She had some minor constipation and it was getting better, but a caregiver decided to "help" and got her some of this stuff. She has not had constipation since (tho stool a bit dry), and has been having BM daily but taking the Miralax every other day in the morning with fruit juice. I realize the Miralax is often prescribed for folks with bedwetting issues since constipation may cause bloating in the intestines which press on the bladder. But could there be some other linkage? Im going to have her discontinue Miralax for a few days and see what happens.

Have you tried giving her cranberry juice or capsules to help her empty the bladder better and prevent frequent infections...it also helps control disagreeable arm pit odor for me

Thanks. I knew about the cranberry juice being helpful in clearing the bladder, but I did NOT know about the arm pit relief!
