Default Pot may be neuroprotective for PD?

New Study: Cannabis May Reverse Symptoms of Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s

A new study funded by the National Institute for Translational Medicine, and published in last month’s issue of the journal Molecular Neurobuology, has found that cannabis may treat, as well as reverse the symptoms of neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson's and Alzheimer’s.

Now that's the innovative research that Big Pharma should be conducting. Even if it doesn't really work, as long as you have a good supply of chips, who cares!

Default

i can say with 100% certainty that pot growers in washington state, will likely fund more medical research now that pot is legal here.

and not 1 rodent opposed the initiative legalizing mj here.

as an aside, i wonder if statistics on pot smoking will be easier to get if the legalize pot movement becomes more successful. people will be able to honestly state their pot use.

listened to an interview of an ex microsoft exec discussing his plans to create a national pot brand out here. the money involved in the pot trade,, billions? at least you won't need a RX but the state taxes will make it very expensive.
