You children may run along and play, but be sure to maintain correct posture and take your meds on time! You know how I worry!

I thought LOL meant Lord oh Lord - it often fits.
I never never use it - can't seem to get over growing up in Denmark where l*** means sh***. Sincere apologies to all you English speaking types, it's a very unfortunate translation. But then Mad in Danish means food, Slut means finished and Gods means freight, so what can you expect? And I get completely lost in acronyms - can't stand them. birte Last edited by BEMM; 05-16-2007 at 04:02 PM. |

Joke:
Scanning technician to PWP - "now lay down on the table with your head in the scanning section and relax. Don't move" |

You won't find much there I'm afraid. Perhaps the other end? Would LOL be more appropriate here? Thanks Pacem. I like your user name.

being latecomer I missed the boat on explaining common acronyms, but I thought you might like this one. Enjoying a pint in a pub I saw a wooden plaque hanging by the bar inscribed WYBMADIITY.
After fruitless puzzling I asked the barmaid, and she said "Would you buy me a drink if I told you". And I said maybe, but what does it mean? She just smiled. It was an offday for me obviously |
