Thanks, Carolyn. The University of Navarra and its formidable hospital are private and catholic and they will go to any lengths to find a cure for PD without using stem cells. ..Which is ok by me, as long as they find that d--- cure! I'm rootin' for them!

Now a little political and historical explanation for the British publishers of the article:
Be it known that Navarra is not Basque, and its people are not Basques, but "Navarros". The kingdom of Navarra existed throughout the Middle Ages and in fact much of today's Basque country belonged to Navarra and not the other way around. Since the historically, culturally and politically irrelevant Basques started a terrorist group 30 odd years ago, with an incredible progaganda department closely connected to the IRA, British media in particular brand everything coming from Northern Spain as "Basque".
