I do not mean to sound sarcastic but..... I have heard these same claims for the past 15 years. Guess what? Sinemet is still the "golden child" where PD is concerned. L-dopa was discovered 53 years go. Many have tried and failed. All I am saying is do not get your hopes up too high. It could be a while yet.

Lots of "lotions and potions" out there. The research on ursolic acid, while sparse and preliminary, does have a few positives : 1. Effectivness NOT based on rats or mice but real human PD cells. The bad news they were in a dish not a body. 2. Already approved by FDA in higher concentrations for gall bladder /liver disease. For me, risk vs reward looked okay. I understand others might see this differently. |
